Since 2014, the (DG) Birthday Celebration has marked the commencement of the annual membership renewal and has celebrated (DG) directors and the work of directors in the (DG) community. 

​In 2022, (DG) shift this celebration to align with a new gathering, (DG) Convening, that connects and elevates (DG) Members and the extended directing community.

5:00 - 6:30pm EST on (DG) Zoom

Join us for a virtual party as (DG) celebrates 7 years of gathering with and for regional theatre directors!

This year, (DG) is focusing on the theme "Better Human, Better Director" for our membership and our programs.  We believe that it is only when we first acknowledge how essential it is to take care of one’s own and each other’s human needs, that we can step into our greatness as theater directors. (DG) is working to offer consistent resources of community, development, and elevation to directors both as humans and as artists.

*Engage with the (DG) board and team and witness (DG)’s year in review
*Join a (DG) Salon to connect with fellow directors and extended community, as we explore our theme, "Better Human, Better Director"

*Experience (DG) Director Members’ vision by viewing a digital slideshow of their process and work --- a great opportunity for collaborators and producers! 

All proceeds and donations from A (DG) Birthday Celebration will go towards funding (DG) membership programs and subsiding (DG) Director member fees.
